Job Description

CPRI has invited applications for 2 vacancies of Technician Gr.1 (Mechanical). Candidates must possess an ITI Trade Certificate in Mechanical from a recognized institution. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years as on 12 October 2026. The post carries Pay Level 2 with a pay scale of ₹19,900–₹63,200. Selection consists of a Computer Based Test followed by a qualifying Trade Test. The 2 vacancies are the overall vacancies for this designation and are not separately allocated to Nagpur in the notification. The CPRI Thermal Research Centre is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
