Job Description
CPRI has announced 29 vacancies for Assistant Gr. II, including 2 posts reserved for PwBD – VI, 1 post reserved for PwBD – LD and 1 post reserved for Ex-servicemen. Candidates must possess a First Class BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM or BCA degree from a recognized University. They must also have a minimum Grade-B certificate in the Basic Computer Course conducted by NIELIT. Other computer course certificates are not accepted for this requirement. The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 12 October 2026. The post carries Pay Level 4 with a pay scale of ₹25,500–₹81,100. Selection will be based on Computer Based Test performance. The 29 vacancies are the overall vacancies for the designation and are not separately distributed to Nagpur. CPRI's Thermal Research Centre is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
