Job Description

CPRI has announced 7 vacancies for Technician Gr.1 (Electrical). Candidates must possess an ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical from a recognized institution. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years as on 12 October 2026. The post carries Pay Level 2 with a pay scale of ₹19,900–₹63,200. Selection consists of a Computer Based Test followed by a qualifying Trade Test. The vacancy figure of 7 is the overall designation-wise vacancy; CPRI has not published a separate Nagpur-wise allocation. The CPRI Thermal Research Centre is located at Nagpur.
