Job Description
CPRI has notified 37 vacancies for Technical Attendant Gr.1, including 1 post reserved for PwBD – HI, 1 for PwBD – LD and 4 for Ex-servicemen. Candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board. A 2-year ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical is desirable. The maximum age is 30 years as on 12 October 2026, with a minimum age of 18 years and applicable relaxation as per Government rules. The post carries Pay Level 1 with a pay scale of ₹18,000–₹56,900. Selection is based on Computer Based Test performance. The 37 vacancies are overall CPRI vacancies; the notification does not provide a separate Nagpur allocation. CPRI's Thermal Research Centre is located in Nagpur.
