Manager-level candidates generally require 9 years of relevant experience in a private organization or 7 years in Government, PSU or Metro Rail Corporation service. The post carries a revised IDA pay scale of ₹60,000–₹1,80,000. The appointment is on contract/deputation basis as applicable, with an initial period of three years that may be extended based on performance and organizational requirements. The selection process includes shortlisting, document verification, personal interview and medical examination. GMRC may assess candidates based on their technical knowledge, experience, skills and suitability for the position.
