Job Description

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited has invited applications for 02 Joint General Manager (Civil) posts under its Civil Recruitment 2026 notification. The recruitment is intended for experienced Civil Engineering professionals with relevant experience in metro, railway and major infrastructure projects. Candidates must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. Relevant experience in construction and execution of metro, railway, flyover, bridge, road underbridge and similar civil infrastructure projects is required as prescribed by GMRC. The post carries a revised IDA pay scale of ₹90,000–₹2,40,000. Appointment may be made on contract, deputation or post-superannuation basis as applicable. The selected candidates may be posted at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat or other GMRC project locations in Gujarat. Selection will be through shortlisting, document verification, personal interview and medical examination. Eligible candidates must apply online through the official GMRC Careers portal.
