Occupational Therapist — ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF SPEECH AND HEARING

ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF SPEECH AND HEARING is inviting applications for 1 Occupational Therapist position. Assess and evaluate patients with speech, language, hearing, developmental, neurological, and other disabilities to determine their functional abilities and rehabilitation needs. Plan and provide occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, sensory-motor, cognitive, and functional skills. Conduct therapy sessions for children and adults with developmental disorders, neurological conditions, and multiple disabilities. Recommend, prescribe, and train patients in the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, splints, and environmental modifications. Counsel and educate patients, parents, caregivers, and families regarding home programmes and rehabilitation strategies. Maintain patient records, assessment reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and other related documentation. Work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, audiologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, special educators, and other professionals in multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Participate in teaching, clinical training, research, and outreach/community-based rehabilitation activities of the Institute.Assist in organizing screening camps, awareness programmes, workshops, and continuing education activities.
