Job Description

Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway has announced 22 Group D (Erstwhile) vacancies under Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix through Employment Notice No. RRC/NR 01/2026/S&G.

Candidates who have passed Class 10th or hold ITI/NAC qualifications can apply, provided they also fulfil the mandatory Scouts and Guides eligibility requirements. Applicants must hold the President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger Award or Himalaya Wood Badge, have five years of active membership and meet the prescribed event participation conditions.

The selection process includes a written examination carrying 60 marks and assessment of Scouts and Guides certificates carrying 40 marks. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and medical fitness examination.

The pay scale is Level 1, starting at ₹18,000 per month. Applications will be accepted online from 06 November 2026 to 06 December 2026.
