Job Description

Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway has released Employment Notice No. RRC/NR 01/2026/S&G for recruitment under the Scouts and Guides Quota for 2026-27. The recruitment includes 5 Group C vacancies under Level 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Eligible candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification along with the President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger Award or Himalaya Wood Badge. Applicants must also fulfil the five-year active membership and event participation requirements.

The selection process consists of a written examination carrying 60 marks and assessment of Scouts and Guides certificates carrying 40 marks, followed by document verification and medical examination. The pay scale is Level 2, starting at ₹19,900 per month.

Online applications are accepted from 06 November 2026 to 06 December 2026. Candidates must submit a separate application and fee for each level if applying for both Group C and Group D.
