Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA), a Miniratna-I and Schedule 'A' Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has announced recruitment for 37 Executive Trainee (Electrical) positions under Advertisement No. CC/26/2026. The recruitment will be carried out using GATE 2027 scores followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates must possess a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) or Integrated Dual Degree in the prescribed Electrical Engineering disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the final year/semester may also be eligible if they satisfy the prescribed academic conditions and their final result is declared by 14 August 2027. Candidates must appear in the GATE 2027 Electrical Engineering (EE) paper; GATE scores from 2026 or earlier will not be accepted. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 31 July 2027, with applicable relaxation for reserved categories and other eligible candidates as per Government rules. The 37 vacancies include 35 fresh vacancies and 2 backlog vacancies. Selected candidates will initially be appointed as Executive Trainees at E2 level in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000–1,60,000 (IDA) during the one-year On-The-Job Training period. After successful completion of training, candidates will be regularized at E2 level. The position also carries applicable allowances and benefits as per GRID-INDIA rules. The selection process consists of GATE 2027 score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The selection weightage is 85% for GATE 2027 marks, 3% for Group Discussion and 12% for Personal Interview. Selected candidates are required to execute a service agreement bond and serve the organization for the prescribed period.
