GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee (Computer Science) Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online — Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA)

Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) has announced 15 Executive Trainee (Computer Science) vacancies under Advertisement No. CC/26/2026. The recruitment is being conducted for engineering graduates through GATE 2027, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates must possess a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) or Integrated Dual Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University/Institute with at least 65% marks or equivalent CGPA. Final-year/semester candidates can also be considered subject to the conditions specified in the notification, including declaration of the final result by 14 August 2027. Candidates must appear in the GATE 2027 Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) paper. Previous GATE scores will not be considered for this recruitment. The maximum age is 28 years as on 31 July 2027, with applicable age relaxation for eligible categories. The 15 vacancies include reservations for UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS and PwBD candidates as specified in the recruitment notification. During the one-year On-The-Job Training period, selected candidates will be placed at E2 level with a pay scale of Rs. 50,000–1,60,000 (IDA). After successful completion of training, Executive Trainees will be regularized at E2 level along with applicable allowances, benefits and other facilities under GRID-INDIA rules. Selection will be based on the candidate's GATE 2027 performance, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. GATE 2027 marks carry 85% weightage, Group Discussion carries 3% and Personal Interview carries 12%. Candidates selected for appointment will also be required to satisfy the prescribed medical standards and execute the required service agreement bond.
