Not a Guess Paper — The Topic-Sheet Method
Don't treat this as a guess paper
Nobody can reliably predict exact questions. Think: Important Question → Important Topic → Important Concept. "Farmer distress in Maharashtra" can become causes of distress, indebtedness, irrigation, climate change, crop diversification, agricultural marketing, MSP, cooperatives, FPOs and government schemes — one prepared theme answers 10-15 different questions.
- Create a one-page topic sheet — For every important topic: Definition/Introduction → Major Causes (e.g. for farmer distress: water, debt, market prices, climate, small land holdings) → Consequences → Government Measures → Maharashtra Examples → Challenges → Way Forward → Conclusion.
- Practice from the sheet — Answer different questions from the same sheet — far more efficient than preparing 200 separate answers.
- The complete loop — Syllabus → Books → Topic-wise important themes → PYQs → One-page notes → MCQs for Prelims + answer writing for Mains → Revision. A complete preparation loop instead of collecting study material.
