Cookie Policy
Effective date: 1 June 2026. This Cookie Policy explains how SearchSarkariNaukri uses cookies and similar technologies on this site.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember preferences, and provide reporting and advertising information to site owners.
2. Cookies We Set
Strictly Necessary
- session / auth tokens — keep you signed in after login (deleted when you log out or after 7 days of inactivity).
- CSRF / security tokens — protect form submissions from cross-site request forgery.
Preference
- language — remembers whether you prefer English or मराठी (Marathi); lasts 365 days.
- UI state — remembers sidebar collapse, font size, etc.; lasts 365 days.
Analytics (privacy-safe, self-hosted)
- visitor identifier (hashed) — aggregates anonymous page-view counts. No raw IP, no personally identifying value is stored — see our Privacy Policy for full hashing details. Typically lasts 30 days.
Advertising — Google AdSense
- __gads, __gpi, NID, IDE, DSID and similar — placed by Google to show contextual ads, measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud. Durations range from session to 24 months.
- Google's own ads policy and controls are at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
3. Your Analytics Choice
Analytics cookies are switched off by default. The consent bar shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline them, and the choice is stored on your own device. To change it later, clear this site’s data in your browser and the bar will appear again.
4. How to Disable Cookies
You can refuse, delete or limit cookies via your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave — each has a "Cookies and Site Data" section). Disabling cookies will not prevent you from reading the site, but some features (saved language, login state) will not persist between sessions.
To opt out of personalised Google advertising specifically, visit adssettings.google.com.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. SearchSarkariNaukri's self-hosted analytics honours this preference (no analytics ping is sent when DNT=1). Third-party ad providers (Google) handle DNT according to their own policies.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the service or third-party tools change. Material changes will update the Effective date.
