State Bank of India has invited online applications for 2 Assistant Vice President (IT Risk) posts under Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2026. The position is focused on IT risk management and requires experienced professionals with relevant technology, information security and risk-management expertise. Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Information Technology or Cybersecurity with the prescribed minimum marks, or an eligible MCA/M.Sc./M.Tech qualification in the specified technology and cybersecurity disciplines. Candidates must have at least 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the IT domain, with the detailed advertisement prescribing the applicable experience areas. The age limit is 32 to 42 years as on 31 August 2026. The post carries an annual CTC of up to Rs. 50 lakh, subject to negotiation based on experience, current emoluments and other factors. Selection will be through shortlisting followed by an interview and CTC negotiation. The place of posting will primarily be Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, subject to the Bank's requirements and transfer policy.
