Job Description

Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway is recruiting sportspersons against Sports Quota for Pay Levels 4 and 5. The 5 vacancies are for Athletics and Boxing, covering specified events including Long Jump, Decathlon, 100 Metres, 400 Metres and the 47–50 Kg Boxing category. Selection is based on sports trial, recognised sports achievements and educational qualification, followed by document verification and medical examination. If suitable candidates are unavailable for a Level 4 or 5 sports discipline, the vacancy may be filled under Level 2 or 3 from the same discipline. The exact pay level and place of posting will be decided by Southern Railway at the time of appointment.
