Job Description
Railway Recruitment Boards have announced 600 vacancies for Junior Clerk Cum Typist under CEN No. 07/2026. The Junior Clerk Cum Typist post is placed at Level 2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix and carries an initial basic pay of ₹19,900. Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. The prescribed computer typing proficiency in English or Hindi is also required for the post. Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on 01 January 2027. Upper-age relaxation is available to eligible reserved categories according to applicable Railway rules. The selection process comprises Computer Based Tests and a Computer Based Typing Skill Test, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards for appointment. Applications can be submitted online from 15 October 2026 through the official RRB application portal.
