Job Description

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has invited online applications for ITI Electrician Apprenticeship training for 2026-27. A total of 64 training slots are available across the notified POWERGRID regions. Candidates must possess the prescribed ITI qualification in the Electrician trade and must have passed the qualifying examination within two years before the closing date. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and medically fit as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates must first register on the NAPS portal before applying through the official POWERGRID website. There is no application fee, written examination or interview. The apprenticeship duration is one year. Applications are open from 25 August 2026 to 10 September 2026.
