Job Description
National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has announced recruitment for 300 Scientific/Technical Assistant-A posts in Computer Science & Information Technology. Candidates must possess the prescribed M.Sc./MS/MCA/B.E./B.Tech qualification and a valid GATE score in CS from 2024, 2025 or 2026. Selection will be based on GATE score merit, followed by document verification. There will be no written examination or interview. The post carries Pay Level 6 with a salary range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400. Online applications will be accepted from 01 September 2026 to 30 September 2026.
