MP Police Constable Driver Recruitment 2026 – 1000 Vacancies — Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Police Headquarters, Home (Police) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced 1,000 vacancies for Constable (Driver) under the Police Headquarters, Home (Police) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The vacancies include 200 posts in the Special Armed Force and 800 posts in the District Police Force and other police units. Eligible male candidates must have passed Class 10 or the equivalent examination, while eligible Scheduled Tribe candidates may apply with Class 8 qualification, subject to the official eligibility rules. A valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence is mandatory. The prescribed minimum age is 18 years, with category-wise maximum age limits and relaxations as specified in the recruitment rulebook. The pay scale is ₹19,500–₹62,000. During the initial service period, the applicable stipend provisions are 70% of the minimum pay in the first year, 80% in the second year and 90% in the third year, as prescribed by the Madhya Pradesh Government. The selection process includes an online written examination, Physical Efficiency Test, document verification and a qualifying practical driving trade test. Online applications open on 15 October 2026 and close on 29 October 2026. Candidates can make corrections to their applications until 3 November 2026. The written examination is scheduled to begin on 4 January 2027. Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh may apply only against unreserved open vacancies and are not eligible for Madhya Pradesh domicile-based reservation or age-relaxation benefits.
