Job Description
Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has invited applications for 7 posts of Assistant Professor in Economics under the Higher Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir. Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Economics or a relevant/allied subject with the prescribed percentage of marks and must fulfill the applicable NET/SLET/SET or PhD eligibility requirements under UGC regulations. The post carries Pay Level-10 with a salary range of ₹57,700–₹1,82,400. Candidates must possess the required domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
