Indian Coast Guard Foreman of Stores Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline — Indian Coast Guard

Indian Coast Guard has released the recruitment notification for Foreman of Stores posts under General Central Service, Group B, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial category. A total of 04 vacancies are available through direct recruitment and the post carries Pay Level 6. Candidates having the prescribed Master’s Degree with 1 year of relevant experience or the prescribed Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience are eligible to apply. The required experience should be related to handling stores and maintaining store accounts. The Foreman of Stores will be responsible for storehouse and inventory-related duties, including supervision of receipt and issue of stores, maintenance of store records, inventory management, supervision of subordinate staff, assistance in audit of ledgers and folios, and disposal of scrap materials. The vacancies are distributed as 02 posts for UR, 01 post for ST and 01 post for EWS candidates. The places of posting include Karwar, Minicoy, Pipavav and Bhubaneswar, although the place of appointment may change according to service requirements. Selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India. The selection process includes application scrutiny, document verification and a written examination. The written examination consists of 80 objective questions carrying 80 marks, covering Mathematics, Mental Ability and Reasoning, General Awareness, English and professional knowledge. There is no negative marking. Candidates are required to download the prescribed application form and submit it through ordinary post only.
