Job Description
IITM has announced 6 Field/Laboratory Assistant vacancies: one in Chennai, one in Guwahati and four in Delhi. Candidates must hold the prescribed engineering diploma or science degree. Duties include maintaining and calibrating atmospheric instruments, troubleshooting equipment, supporting field campaigns and collecting observations. The monthly remuneration is ₹20,000 plus HRA. The written and skill test is scheduled for 29 October 2026. Candidates must report between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM at the venue designated for their post, carrying the filled application form, original certificates and photocopies.
