Job Description
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is recruiting a Programming Assistant Grade B for its Kandivali (East), Mumbai office. Eligible candidates must have a full-time B.Sc. IT, BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent qualification, or an engineering degree in Computer Science or IT. At least two years of relevant post-qualification experience in UNIX/Linux applications and file handling is required, along with basic programming and MS Excel skills. FORTRAN or Python experience and a recognized programming certificate are desirable. Duties include processing data files, managing Unix file systems, transferring files between servers, preparing Excel reports and supporting basic programming tasks. The approximate starting total monthly emolument is ₹54,210. Selection includes application screening, document verification, an online examination and a personal interview.
