India Post has announced recruitment for Branch Postmaster posts under the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July-2026 cycle. BPMs are responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the Branch Post Office, postal operations, IPPB transactions and delivery-related duties. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English and studied the prescribed local language up to 10th standard. There is no written examination; selection is based on a system-generated merit list prepared from Class 10 marks.
