Job Description
The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology invites applications for one joint Assistant Professor position between the School of Defence Technology & Management and Aerospace Engineering & Autonomous Systems, reserved for SC candidates. The specialization includes advanced UAV design and integration, counter-UAV technologies, simulation, autonomous navigation, software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulation, autonomous flight-control algorithms, and UAV prognostics and health management. Applicants must hold the prescribed Ph.D. and First Class Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering degree, with at least two years of relevant experience. Experience in drone or UAV industries and research publications is desirable. The post carries Academic Pay Level 10 with applicable allowances.
