Job Description

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous organization under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has announced direct recruitment for 43 Technician (1), Group II posts across 10 trade codes. Eligible candidates must have passed SSC/10th with Science subjects and at least 55% marks along with the required ITI, trade certificate, apprenticeship training or relevant experience for the concerned trade. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 17 September 2026. Online applications are open from 18 August 2026 at 10:00 AM until 17 September 2026 at 5:00 PM. Selected candidates may be posted at CSIR Headquarters and units in Delhi-NCR, Pune and Mumbai. The selection process includes screening, a qualifying Trade Test and a competitive written examination.
