Job Description
Assam Rifles has announced 23 vacancies for Rifleman (Vehicle Mechanic) under the Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026. Applicants must have passed 10th/Matriculation and possess the prescribed minimum 2-year technical training from ITI or a relevant 2/3-year Diploma in the specified motor vehicle, diesel, fitter, mechanical or automobile-related trades. The selection process consists of RFID-based PST/PET, document verification, Computer Based Test, trade skill test and detailed/review medical examination. The trade skill test is qualifying in nature. Applications can be submitted online from 28 September 2026 to 28 October 2026 through the Assam Rifles recruitment portal.
