Job Description
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Principal Recruitment 2026 notification to fill 124 Principal posts in the Education Department, Government of NCT of Delhi. Candidates must possess a Master's Degree, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and 10 years of teaching experience as a Vice Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), or Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in a recognized school. Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level-12 under the 7th CPC. The online application process starts on 25 July 2026 and closes on 14 August 2026. Candidates will be shortlisted through a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an interview. The CRT is scheduled for 1 November 2026. Eligible candidates should carefully read the official notification before submitting their online application.
